Personal — Fred T. Santucci was born in 1934.  He began service as a Justice for the Appellate Division, Second Department in 1992.

 

Judicial Positions — Justice Santucci was appointed to the Appellate Term in 1988.  He was elected to the Supreme Court, Eleventh Judicial District in 1979 where he sat as Presiding Justice over the Medical Malpractice part.  Fred T. Santucci was a Civil Court Judge for the City of New York from 1974 to 1978 where he was Co-Chairman of the Civil Court Committee on Continuing Legal Education and Housing Court Coordinator.

 

Private Practice — Prior to the start of his judicial career, Fred T. Santucci was in private practice until 1973 and served as a legal advisor to the New York State Assembly.  

 

Teaching — Justice Santucci has been an adjunct professor of law at St. John's University School of Law since 1997.

 

Education - He received a JD from New York Law School and his undergraduate degree from Adelphi College.
