Microsoft Outages

Dear CourtAlert Clients,

We are aware of the recent Microsoft service outage and want to reassure you that CourtAlert is actively monitoring the situation. At this time, we do not expect any impact to CourtAlert services.

Email Monitoring & Failed Messages

CourtAlert continuously monitors outbound email delivery sent from Case Management. If any emails fail to send, they will appear in the Mail Queue Status within the Admin panel. Our team is also actively monitoring for any failed email activity and will address issues proactively.

Concerned You May Have Missed a PACER Notice?

Due to PACER and local rule requirements that obligate firms to independently review PACER dockets, and not rely solely on NEF notifications, many firms have expressed concern that NEFs may have been missed during the recent outage.
CourtAlert is offering a solution.
The CourtAlert for PACER system is designed to directly monitor and review PACER dockets. In response to the outage, CourtAlert has prepared a tool that can check all new dockets from today to help ensure nothing was missed.
$5/case. 20 case minimum.

CourtAlert®, the market leader in watching case in New York, now provides case watching for New Jersey Superior Court cases, all NJ counties are supported.

For cases on your NJ Superior Court watchlist CourtAlert will email you an Alert for every:
  1. Document recorded in the court computer system (Motions, Orders, Summons and Miscellaneous documents)
  2. Motion updates
  3. Pending proceedings (calendar events)
  4. Calendar marking (what is recorded for a recent past appearance)
  5. Disposition of the case

Price:

There is no charge for the service until November 20, 2015. Thereafter the standard cost of 85 cents per workday per case, which is $17.00 a case for a typical 20-workday month. A contract with CourtAlert must be on file and you may start using the services by simply adding cases to the NJ Superior Court watch list. Discounted rates for smaller law firms and volume discounts are available.

Benefits & Features:

Users can enter Client and Matter numbers, and names or initials of main attorneys on the case. This information will appear on each Alert for the case and in the various cost allocations reports to facilitate optional charging back to your clients.

 Each case can be watched by any number of email addresses at no additional charge.

A case snapshot display is available for all cases being watched, it includes a snapshot of the court data for the case. Click here to see a sample.
