Personal — George D. Marlow was born in 1941. He began service with the Appellate Division as an Associate Justice in 1978. He was appointed by Governor George E. Pataki and is a Republican.

Judicial Positions - Prior to beginning his service with the Appellate Division, George D. Marlow was a New York Supreme Court Justice for the Ninth Judicial District from 2000 to 2001. In 1997 he was an Acting Supreme Court Justice in Kings County. From 1993 to 1999 he was a Dutchess County Court Judge and he sat as a Dutchess County Family Court Judge from 1984 to 1992. He was Acting Supreme Court Justice in Queens County from 1987 to 1988. George D. Marlow was Town Justice in Poughkeepsie from 1980 to 1983.

Clerkships — Justice Marlow was the Law Clerk to the Honorable Albert M. Rosenblatt from 1976 to 1979.

Government — Before starting his judicial career, George D. Marlow was an Assistant District Attorney in Dutchess County from 1971 to 1975 and a Queens County Assistant District Attorney from 1967 to 1971.

Education — George D. Marlow received an MJS from University of Nevada in 1997, obtained his JD from St. John's University in 1966 and graduated St. Lawrence University with a BA in 1963.
