Personal — Gloria Goldstein was born in 1931.  She began service as a Justice for the Appellate Division, Second Department in 1994, appointed by Governor Mario M. Cuomo. 

Judicial Positions — Prior to serving on the Appellate Division, the Honorable Gloria Goldstein was elected Supreme Court Justice, Second Judicial District in 1992.  She was Acting Supreme Court Justice, Second Judicial District from 1981 until 1992.  From 1980 to 1981 she was an Acting Judge of the Criminal Court for the City of New York.  She served as a Judge of the Civil Court of the City of New York from 1979 until 1980.

Private Practice — Justice Goldstein practiced in Brooklyn, NY from 1956 to 1978. 

Education — Gloria Goldstein received her law degree from Brooklyn Law School in 1956 and graduated with a BA from Brooklyn College with a BA.
