CourtAlert
July 8, 2021
At the CourtAlert 2021 Client Event, CourtAlert
announced that Izzy Schiller, founder and President, is retiring. Izzy
gave an energetic speech at the virtual event and expressed the joy in
seeing CourtAlert’s progress over the years and his confidence in the
future management of the company. Izzy founded CourtAlert in 1999 with a
vision of providing litigation case data directly to the attorney’s
desktops. Since the initial success of New York case tracking, coverage
has expanded to nationwide PACER and many other state courts. In 2005,
with his experience in building large-scale data systems, Izzy invented
and patented “reconciliation”, a process of automation surrounding ECF
notices. This feature has become a cornerstone in the CourtAlert Case
Management, ECF Inform and ECF Assurance products and has led to their
pioneering success.
At the event clients shared quotes, stories,
and videos, and well wishes reflecting on working with Izzy over the
years. One client wrote, "Not only did Izzy understand our struggles
but he was willing to make his business meet our needs as opposed to
offering a take it or leave it package of services. Congratulations on
your retirement." Izzy, the CourtAlert team and the many clients you
have affected over the years thank you.
CourtAlert has announced that Yaniv Schiller
has been appointed the new President and Eytan Schiller as Chief
Technology Officer. “Yaniv and Eytan will continue to take CourtAlert to
new heights.” said Izzy in his speech announcing the appointment. Their
experience at CourtAlert has already been marked with innovation and
remarkable growth.
Yaniv Schiller, previously Chief Operating
Officer, will now be the head of the company as President. Prior to
joining CourtAlert in 2011 Yaniv worked in finance on credit risk
applications. Since he joined in 2011 Yaniv has quickly grown from a
senior programmer to product manager and then to Chief Operating Officer
of CourtAlert in 2015. In his time at CourtAlert, he has been dedicated
to enhancing the case monitoring services and CourtAlert docketing
solution. The case management solution has seen tremendous growth with
the number of nationwide Am-Law 100 clients and the diversity of their
requirements. He has managed the development and operations teams that
focused on client support and client-driven enhancements.
Eytan Schiller, previously head of Research and
Development, has been appointed Chief Technology Officer. Eytan joined
CourtAlert in 2015 with technical experience in Software Architecture,
Software Engineering, and IT Security. Since then Eytan has brought many
innovations and improvements to CourtAlert including many of its now
popular services, such as PACER Explorer, ECF Inform and Realtime
Complaints. Most recently Eytan lead the effort to bring Case Management
to the cloud. The solution now runs securely on client dedicated PAAS
resources in Microsoft Azure, a key factor in the product’s recent
growth, and can be set up for a new client in hours. As CTO, Eytan will
continue lead the efforts to develop new services and further grow
CourtAlert’s existing services.
On behalf of everyone at CourtAlert, we thank our clients for their
feedback and ideas and we look forward to our continued growth in this
new chapter.
