Chief Judge Carla E. Craig has
reported that Alan S. Trust was sworn in as a bankruptcy judge in the Eastern
District of New York on April 2, 2008. The swearing in took place in Dallas, and the
oath was administered by Judge Patrick Higginbotham of the Fifth Circuit.
Judge Trust has begun sitting in Central Islip.

Effective April 15,
2008, a proposed order in a case assigned to Judge Milton may be submitted by e-mail. For a transition period until further
notice, a proposed order may also be submitted on a diskette and chambers
copy. This process applies to
orders in ECF cases only. Please note that e-mail submission of proposed

PACER Update
During
the fall of last year we reported on the Administrative Office decision to
make transcripts of federal and bankruptcy court proceedings available on
PACER. According to PACER we should begin to see transcripts on PACER
before the end of May of this year.
